Our Covenant

Love is the doctrine of this church;
the quest of truth its sacrament;
and service is its prayer:
To dwell together in peace;
to seek knowledge in freedom;
to serve humankind in fellowship;
to the end that all souls shall grow
into harmony with the divine. 
Thus do we covenant with each other and with God.
As an Open and Affirming Congregation
we covenant to welcome all persons,
of all ages, races, backgrounds, and sexual orientations
as equal participants
in the love and grace of God
and thus, as equal participants in the life
and ministry of this congregation.
